Phillip Marsh Said: cuts well but takes space to operate ( Oct. 21st 2009 )
With thick sheet metal - 16 gauge or thicker - we use this tool as it is a bit too much for our Hole Pro CL-285 hole cutter. The Malco works well but it requires more space as the drill has to spin the cutter bit as the circle is being cut. Helps to wear a long sleeved shirt as the metal shavings tend to burn as they are spun off. For 22-26 gauge we prefer the Hole Pro hole cutter but every tool has its place and the Malco works well and is reasonably priced.
